Our Story

With a deep-rooted love for aesthetics, Kristen's post-college journey led her to Florence, Italy for a fashion design internship. However, it was in Italy that she discovered her passion for interior aesthetics and design instead.

Years later, she realized the profound impact of transforming a mere 'interior' into a 'home'. Kristen's young son faced health challenges from birth, requiring round-the-clock care at times. Having the unique requirement to be within arms reach of his bedside for hours on end, provided her with ample time to explore how the four walls surrounding them could affect their well-being and how they could be redesigned to aid in her son's healing process. She worked with what she had and experimented with colors, sounds, and textures. Hoping to find ways to promote healing and boost morale within their living space.

Kristen's son's health significantly improved (THANK YOU, Dr. Ebadi, for giving him his childhood back) and filled with gratitude and the desire to help others, Kristen felt compelled to seek ways to help others in similar situations. She pursued studies at the Interior Design Institute to extend healing, resilience, and comfort to others through their living environments.

Full circle, Kristen is now also a board member of the Denver chapter of Savvy Giving by Design, a non-profit dedicated to supporting families with a child facing medical challenges by transforming their home interiors at no charge to them. Essentially, the goal is “Helping children and their siblings feel at peace during dark times”.
